——Why must Confucianism be modernized?

Why must Confucianism be modernized? To answer this question, we must first answer, and in modern Chinese Confucianism, there will still be a small number of questions; and then we will discuss that Confucianism must be modernized. Neither of these two problems can be solved in just three words, but I have to give some explanations in this short article and then I have to deal with it simply.
Why is there a lot of Confucianism in modern China? This is because the most fundamental Chinese civilization has not changed since ancient times. What is the most fundamental basis of Chinese civilization? Yi Dao, or the Tao of Heaven. In the past two centuries, China’s society has undergone a huge change. Has this most basic foundation still not changed? The answer is: It has not changed, otherwise why is it called the most basic one! It is still the way of heaven (also known as the way of Yi). Once you have confirmed this, you can know the main thing about Confucianism. This is because Confucianism studies the way of heaven as the most systematic, complete and in-depth.
About the way of heaven, this article begins with a more accessible traditional discussion.
1. Why Confucianism is still inevitable in contemporary China – tradition and the way of heaven
(I) The basic connotation of traditional concepts is: it is alive, so the ancient and modern Chinese people still inherit the tradition of Chinese civilization, and Confucianism is the best academic theory for the Ming and modern Chinese civilization tradition.
The application concept must be carefully understood and only pay attention to the words and sentences. The basic connotation of traditional concepts is: it is alive. To be alive means to never be interrupted. Living means being internal and reveling. If tradition is separated, it is a dead thing. It’s like a hand, when it applies, it’s alive. If it is cut off, the shape depends on the old thing, but it is a passing thing, it is no longer a hand. Although the hand on the corpse is connected to the body, it is no longer a hand because the body has passed away. Traditional life is to live in the daily life of ordinary people.
Another basic connotation of tradition is its ancient and modern principles. The system is one thing. Because it is alive, it must be a piece of ancient and modern times..
Chinese tradition has never stopped. It has always lived in the daily life of ordinary people. Every Chinese is its load. People keep it. Life is the inheritance of tradition. When dealing with people, attitude and interaction are all in the tradition, so they inherit the tradition. Even the rebirth of the family and his mother’s eyes are in the tradition. There is a civilized difference in the love for the baby in the eyes of mothers of all races. If we look at the tradition from analytical perspective, it exists; it exists in the world of meaning. It is generally believed that it exists in classics. This is incorrect. Classics are dead objects, and paper and ink are corrupted. As recorded in classics, it was destroyed by the analyte. Classics must be interpreted and read before they can enter the current world of meaning, and only then can the meaning of the connotation in their sentences be alive. The verbs and sentences recorded in classics must conform to tradition and can be interpreted.
Although the tradition has never stopped, it is also concealed by scientific verbs and has been obscured for a long time. It is necessary to understand that this discussion is a fee reckoning, and this article is handled simply – readers should pay attention to the sufferings of the people in the living world. In recent years, Chinese people have been widely used to study, work, and play, and have been widely accepted by foreigners, but have been rejected. The first is that they lack civilized traditions for many years, which has become wealth, profit and rough; the second is that the majority of Chinese people (“Chinese” include a few ethnic groups – because Han people account for the majority of their lives, even though they are worshipped by several ethnic groups, they are still small members of the total number of their lives) have lost their worship and actually thought they were a ethnic group that did not worship. 〖Use elegance to express the darkness of heaven. 〗This should promote the civilized self-perception of the common people. The so-called civilizational self-conception is that the perfection of each person and the civilized existence of the leader itself; the other is that people cooperate with perfection and clarity in the world. 〖Display today. 〗
Although the tradition has never been interrupted, it will become dark and sluggish when it encounters pressure; it will not be eliminated. Even if all the burning of the classics or locking them in the warehouse to stop reading, tradition will not be eliminated. Tradition is inherited in life. The daily life of an ordinary person is a traditional residence. If your career is uninterrupted, the tradition will not be interrupted or destroyed.
Traditionality is an objective existence. Although people cannot see it or feel it, its existence is indisputable. Where does it exist? One thing exists in the world of meaning. One is that it exists in each of us, and it is the civilized existence of each of us; or perhaps in other words, each of us is its body—the civilized existence of each of us is the inclusive software formed by tradition. Traditionally, the civilization of adults exists. It also exists in all civilized products.
(II) Three civilization models who understand the current situation–solving the “ancient and modern Chinese and Western” model
Contemporary China was subject to strong influence from two foreign civilizations: one is the Eastern Christian civilization, and the other is the Eastern Orthodox Church-Su Russian civilization. Chinese civilization is regarded as a mixed and integrated existence between the three systems of foreign civilization and the above two civilizations. Foreign country civilization was actually a combination of many civilizations from ancient times. For example, the Yangtze River flows from its source to the Donghai Sea, and has moved into several mainstreams along the way. Chinese civilization has moved from modern to present, and there may be other civilizations moving into the future. In this case, it is not hindered to be called the “civilized stems and branches” that combine the main trunk and the mainstream. Foreign country civilization is the backbone, while Eastern civilization and Su Russian civilization are the main stream. Taking such insights should prevent the confusion between Chinese civilization and local civilization. Chinese civilization refers to the entire system we face at the moment, which is a new civilization that gradually forms the three civilizations that influence and integrate each other. Looking at contemporary China with such three civilization models is completely different from the “ancient and modern Chinese and Western” model. The latter may regard Su Russian civilization as a belt of Eastern civilization, but actually put it aside; or defeat Su Russian civilization as Chinese tradition; both of which are not conducive to the study and understanding of the situation. Not long ago, when the academic community commemorated the centenary of the new civilization movement, some even advocated the Ouchang period. In fact, the historical community planned to go out in the late Qing Dynasty, which meant that the agency was promoting Europeanization at that time, and its scale was very large. After the new civilization began to move forward, Ouhua continued to advance, but it was impossible to say that it began to set a scale at this time; it was at this time that Su Russian civilization began to influence Chinese society and was a new tide. The situation in which the three civilizations influence each other is quite obvious. 〖The proposed three civilization models can be regarded as a response to the civilization model in the 1958 “Declaration on the Congratulations to the World Peoples of China”. 〗
Under the transformation of the two mainstream civilizations, the Chinese people’s civilizational understanding has been challenged: our writing is taciturn and has performed a lot of editing in later production to create drama effects. Can Ming existents become Eastern or Su Russian? The pure term is to forget the problem of ancestors. Forgetting one’s ancestors means that one cannot achieve the recognition of civilization.
